The Number 144000 in the Bible and Ancient Mythology

The Number 144000 in the Bible is enourgmous significance and i will explain as you read in the article      

And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand  sealed, out of every tribe of the sons of Israel, . . .

Then I looked, and lo, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him a hundred  and  forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father’s name written on  their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of many waters  and like the sound of loud thunder; the voice I heard was like the sound of  harpers playing on their harps, and they sing a new song before the throne and  before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from  the earth.  

Revelation 14:1-3 

The Mayan time cycle consists of 13 baktun periods, each spanning 144,000 days, totaling 1,872,000 days or roughly 5,125 years. This grand cycle, speculated to have commenced in 3114 BC (or 3113), is predicted to conclude in 2012 AD. 

Interestingly, the duration of 144,000 days per baktun aligns with a significant number mentioned in the Book of Revelation, 144 (12 x 12). Revelation also describes the New Jerusalem with dimensions based on a cube with a factor of 12, resulting in 12 x 12 x 12 = 1,728, resembling a cubic foot when scaled down. 

The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its breadth; and he measured the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and breadth and height are equal. He also measured its wall, a hundred and forty-four cubits by a man’s measure, that is, an angel’s. 
 

Revelation 21:16, 17 

Frequently, ancient numerical values are simplified by omitting trailing zeros for easier comparison. The Mayan cycle, comprising 13 periods of 144,000 days each, demonstrates numerical patterns associated with Gematria. These numbers typically sum up to 9 or its multiples and are divisible by 9. Notably, primary Gematrian numbers are evenly divisible by 36, such as 144 (36 x 4) and 1,872 (36 x 52). 

A compelling connection arises when subtracting 1,656 from 1,872, resulting in 216. This number holds significance as it’s half of 432 and corresponds to six cubed (6 x 6 x 6). Additionally, 2160 denotes the length of one Zodiac Age in years. Moreover, 216 is linked to the 72 Divine Names, each comprising three letters, totaling 216 letters. 

The film “Pi” delved into the concept of the 216 Names of God. 

In the design of the New Jerusalem, a significant number emerges: 31,680 miles. This figure is derived in two ways. Firstly, by enclosing the Earth’s sphere in a box with a diameter of 7,920 miles, resulting in a perimeter of 31,680 miles. Secondly, by calculating the circumference of a circle passing through 12 smaller circles, each with a diameter equal to the Moon’s, 2,160 miles. Using an approximate value of Pi (22/7), the circumference of this “Moon” circle is computed as (2 x 22/7) x 5,040, which equals 31,680 miles. 

According to some interpretations of Revelation 21, a conversion factor exists involving stadia and furlongs. Twelve thousand stadia convert to 7,920,000 feet. Considering that the breadth, length, and height of the New Jerusalem are equal, the total becomes 4 x 12,000 stadia, or 48,000 x 660, which equals 31,680,000 feet. 

When simplifying these calculations, removing trailing zeros, a fundamental figure emerges: 4 x 12 = 48, and then, 48 x 66 = 3,168. 

Upon reviewing the preceding computations, a significant observation arises: 

144 = 36 x 4 1,872 = 36 x 52 

It’s apparent that: 

52 – 4 = 48 hence 1,872 – 144 = 1,728 

The discrepancy between two key numbers from the Mayan cycle leads to the “cube” calculation. Notably, 13 x 144 = 1,872, while 12 x 144 = 1,728. This observation, though seemingly evident, only became clear and meaningful upon reflection.
